The zyprexa is enhancing my ocd. Ive read this can happen while taking it and its driving me nuts. Im also on prozac for the ocd but just started a few days ago
Yeah abilify has helped me with this so had zoloft.
Zoloft has helped me also. Recently I’ve been put on 5mg of abilify for prolactin. However even though it’s a small dose I think that has helped too. My OCD (not officially diagnosed) before bed is much better.
Were ypur intrusive thoughts scary&/or very bothersome and took over your days? What types of thoughts?
For prolactin? Because another med caused higher levels?
Yes I take paliperidone for my schizophrenia. And it’s caused very high prolactin. Also an allergic reaction. I might have to switch medications.
I hate palperidone. I feel its heightened my issues. I have breast milk now. It also made my ocd worse. I cant wait till the shot is out of my system
It’s been a very good medication for me. Just a shame about the prolactin and allergic reaction.
I had command hallucinations/thoughts. Feelings inside me implanted by an external force telling me to do something. The abilify stopped this. Since I was 5 I had ocd. Counting and stuff. Zoloft and abilify has helped me have a less obsessive thought process in general. I used to get way too fixated on things. Sometimes these mental health disorders and treatments cross over with one another.

I used to be on that combo. They put me on prozac for ocd the other day but its giving me fast heart rate. I dont even know if prozac is good for ocd
My ocd is intrusive thoughts
I took abilify and I have OCD, I would say it helped with my intrusive thoughts and impulses. But I’m doing just as good on risperdal right now.
