Who goes to the gym/exercises and loves it/hates it

I’m just starting to exercise. I learned it at physical therapy. The md sent me because I kept on pulling this same muscle in my back and she thought I needed to strengthen it. I’m really happy, it has helped a lot . Now that I’m done with pt I’m gonna continue those exercises to help strengthen my core.

I got a recumbent bicycle that belonged to the local gym, it’s electronics were outdated but it didn’t matter because I took off that part anyway.
Got it for free- saw it outside a house while driving by, free sign on it and snapped it up.
My mom (who just turned 81 years old) had just told me she was interested in getting one, so I took it straight to her house. She loved it and has used it everyday.

That’s about as much exercise I get these days, my fault for not going outside to walk or ride my regular bicycle.

I’ve never belonged to a gym, much less been in one, I used to walk 3 miles in under 45 minutes 6 days a week…I felt much better back then.

I don’t go to the gym but when I have before it’s very invigorating. Such a buzz! Turn on some music and run on the treadmill is a rush sometimes
I lift dumbells at home every so often to keep my arms in shape since I walk so much anyways . I should work out more but Iv never been the body builder workout type. I just like exercise

When I lived in Prescott az for a couple months I would bike every day usually 5-10 miles . Up here in Alaska it’s harder to stay in shape unless it’s hunting season because of the weather and such. In southeast there aren’t that many bike trails either. So you have to force yourself to exercise until u go hunting

I’ve got a home gym and treadmill. Not the best equipment but it’s something. I don’t have to wait for the equipment to be free or travel far to a gym. I can’t lift what I used to be able to in my 20’s but I’m trying.
