Yeah, besides the zyprexa, I need some benzos lately… it’s not ok to be in pain, its dumb… I know it’s dangerous, but I’ll need them I guess in order to get some life I realized not long ago, that I am severely ill, more even maybe than my mi friends…
Only the benzos save me sometimes tbh…
But I was on klonopin for 10 years, once in 4 days, but my pdoc said to change it in order to not get addicted… it’s a lot 10 years on a benzo isn’t it? Yeap, for many people, I am probably a sick person to have take these meds… but well, someone told me, that I have a different mind from everyone, it’s a special one too and on me, benzos are a big help I find…
I have one friend who is “subscribed” to xanax daily till all her life, but she doesn’t worry on the benzos… they help, yes…
But which one you prefer personally- ativan or klonopin? I took only klonopin the last years. My doc gave me ativan now and it’s a bit different… it puts me more to sleep I find and is better for my conversion disorder… the klonopin was better on “respecting” my feelings, it was lifting my depression even, but maybe I find it weaker lately on my suffering…
Hugs all
I had a gran mal stopping Xanax suddenly. That was enough for me. I titrated off them over a period of time and haven’t looked back. I learned to live with a bit of anxiety and got better. Yes. They are addictive and short acting but they help some I’m not denying that…
Still. I think if you need them you take the minimum you can to function. I don’t think they are things to take regularly…just every now and then for best use but hey. Sz and associated disorders are serious business.
