Which ap is the best for depressive symptoms (experiences)

I know this question is common here, but I have to ask again since there have been so many new ap’s the last few years. Perhaps there are new experiences.

I’m no longer satisfied with Vraylar and I’m switching back to a low dose of olanzapine.

Any experiences?

Abilify has antidepressant effects. In fact at 5mg it can be used an add on to an antidepressant for depression.

Yeah, i have been on abilify, but in the long run i think olanzapine works better for me, but i wil give abilify a thought if olanzapine should disappoint me.

I am on Lybalvi which is olanzapine and sandomorphan(weight loss medication). Ask about it with your insurance mine paid for it.

Unfortunately we don’t have that combo in my country. But it sounds interesting. I will keep an eye open.

I´m going to ask for the ad that helps you quit smoking

I don’t know what’s the best, but my depression is gone on Geodon. I’m only on 60mg a day too.

Regular exercise trumps any med no contest. From what I know they are barely better than placebo unless you are so depressed that you are bedridden.

Caplyta is for sz and bipolar depression I believe.

Vortioxetine works for me. I’m on the max 20mg dose. I have to eat a few healthy meals a week minimum for it to work. Too much fast food and it stops working.

Edit: Vortioxetine is an ad, I misread your post. I take both brexpiprazole and olanzapine as aps but I need to keep taking the ad as well to keep me going.

Thanks for answering @HollyHobby @microware @Turtle44 @Pat6398

Im more informed now for my next appointment with my pdoc. Excersise is good and i have been doing it in a gym for half a year, but then i suddenly stopped, the energy was gone. I will pick it up again in february. Until then i have my long walks around my city.
