I’ve only taken Invega Sustenna injections and Invega Trinza injections and they both work well for me. I used to take Aripiprazole pills and I think it made me order food deliveries every day. I was also on Olanzapine pills which has an injectable form and the pills made me gain a lot of weight so I was over 280lbs. I also used to take more than my prescribed dose when I had the dissolvable tablets then go to bed and I’d wake up with restless legs. So in my opinion Invega injections or pills are better because I don’t have any side effects.

Invega here is called Xeplion but I think it only has monthly injectable

The monthly injection is good. I was on it for almost four years before I switched to Invega Trinza which is every three months because I don’t like injections. You can try the Xeplion injection and see if it works for you but I think it would be better if you could try pills first in case you get side effects because I’ve read about people getting Invega Sustenna injections and getting bad side effects for a long time like months and months even after they stop taking it.

Is there the half year injection of Invega in your country? I guess I could ask my pdoc about the paliperidone pills

Yes, here in the US Invega Hafyera injections are every six months. I want to switch to that.

That sucks. I guess it’s a gamble if you want to try the injections and see if they work or if the side effects are too bad.

I once was suggested zyprexa injection but it was a long time ago and the 3 hour warning period scares me

Haldol injections work for me almost to the point where I no longer have mania hypomania or psychosis but for some the side effects are brutal I take cogentin for the side effects and it’s saved my life

I will admit I hate the fact i don’t have mania anymore I felt amazing even tho I did stupid ■■■■ I still get depressed tho I have to take lamictal for the lows
