My doc wants me to go on Xeplion injections

I’m currently on clozapine and abilify shot but she wants to change the abilify to xeplion
Anyone has experience?

Yes. I used to be on Invega shots. They’re the same drug, just different names.

Yes, better than any other AP I tried, but I had developed a hunger problem while on it and gained weight. I’m on Haldol now.

People tend to love or hate it. Will they give you the pills for a while before giving you an injection?

For me Invega worked better than Zyprexa although I might be unfair since I was stressed working while on Zyprexa.

Invegas alright but it took awhile to get use too

invega is good, works as well as olanzapine for me but allowed me to lose a bit of the olanzapine weight and health problems + no more ravenous appetite. for some reason my dumb ass is back on olanzapine

I have taken the Invega. It worked ok for me, but olanzapine works better for me I guess. If your dr wants you to try it, I’d say that’s a good idea to try it. It might work really well for you. I hope it does!

Invega killed all my delusions and hallucinations, but made me feel like an empty zombie.

Didn’t like invega cause it gave me severe anhedonia, so I couldn’t enjoy anything.

Now I’m on clozaril 300mg and abilify 10mg.

I’m on the invega shots and they work great, but they give me sexual dysfunction so i’m changing to haldol in like march.
