Say hey if you have insomnia. And what you do to get a good nights sleep.

Hey!:slightly_smiling_face:

I have insomnia and imovane has been my saviour but now they want to take that away from me.

I get anxiety too and am unable to watch tv or read or be active so I just lay in bed hour after hour feeling horrible.

Not sleeping for days can bring on symptoms.

I might try to find another psychiatrist who is willing to prescribe imovane.

Psychiatrist wants me on seroquel aswell as latuda as she thinks seroquel might help me sleep.

I don’t want to try a new medication and i don’t want to be on two anti psychotic medication.

If I get desperate I might switch from latuda to olanzapine hoping olanzapine will help me sleep.

I’m worried about my future sleeping.

I need a psychiatrist who will work with me not against me.

I would be willing to have imovane just every other night but they want to remove it entirely from me.

That could hospitalised me.

I can’t stand being up all night with anxiety and unable to sleep.

Diazapam or mental masturbation usually works

Yes, it is. Maybe your primary dr can help. Try seeing them to find out for sure

Hey, you sound like your situation is really bad. I don’t like psychosis either and have an inability to sleep without my 10 zyprexa. They give it to me in lybalvi which has a medicine they found suppresses appetite. I might not need an antipsychotic after these thirty five years but I need sleep and non-addictive sleep aids that are good don’t seem to have been invented or else my pdoc is hiding something from me lol. Keep the faith. It’ll be okay.

Did you try going to bed bit later? I don’t know but 8 seems like super early. Maybe an hour or two later.

Thank you!

G I didn’t know they could add appetite supress ants to medication.

Maybe I can try olanzapine with this stuff.

I want to go to sleep early because I get anxiety after my medication and don’t want to be awake.

My last psychiatrist won’t prescribe medication for anxiety either.

Need a psychiatrist who is willing to prescribe the medication that will help me and right now I’m only asking for imovane.

No one’s giving you sleep medication long-term. People develop dependence.

Maybe try melatonin. Or some AP which will help with sleep. I don’t know if melatonin will help but won’t hurt to try.

Olanzapine. It should help with sleep. But not much with anxiety.

Going to bed approxemately the same time every night. Doing non exitable things in the evening.

Taking supplements in the evening. Melatonin, magnesium, L-serine, Tryptophan, pumpkin seed oil. And also 10mg olanzapine.

Im usually tired by 8 becuase i wake up at 4am

I guess that I qualify as being an insomniac

My sleep cycle is erratic and I’ll usually go to bed at 12am to 1am and get up at 5am, sometimes I’ll get up by 8am but my overnight sleep is always broken and interrupted.

I know that my insomnia is due to my lamictal use.

Going to bring it up with my doctor

That sounds like me. I fall asleep around 11 or 12. Wake up at 2, 4, 6am. Then get out of bed at 8am

Yes, I’ll fall asleep at 12 to 1am usually and wake up at 530am to 630am then remain in bed but not fully asleep and get out of bed by 8am

But you mentioned it takes you four hours to fall asleep. Are you lying still on bed for four hours or tossing-turning for four hours? Assuming you sleep from 12am to 4am.
