So back into cricket today as our season recommences. Hot Brisbane day with some decent humidity. We won the toss and batted which is choice. I opened and scored 12 which wasn’t bad and was top score from the top 5. Still. Been a month since I played and was a bit rusty…

Anyways. Got one of those nasty summer storms. Came in and we got the cover on the turf wicket which saved the game. There was a Test Match between Australia and India at our test venue the Gabba and it got washed out…We got back on and played which was a bonus. I reckon we got like 2 inches or rain in 20 minutes. It was nuts but that is how we roll in SE Qld.

So. Did a great job with the turf wicket and the boys were appreciative and all went well. Pat on the back Paul!

My friend is a cricket enthusiast, but he gave up on me saying, i am better off bang my head against a brickwall, than explaining me the cricket ever again.:thinking:
I like cricket because it seems noone is in the rush like in other ballgames.
