So a couple of rainy days ahead. Not so bad because we need it but a pain for me. Have to help prepare a wicket for a semi final this weekend so that will mean a cover and a lot of work. Meanwhile there’s no riding or jogging today. Will just have to work out at home and do more weights.
Have some creative stuff I could be doing so will try to knock some of that out. Been doing really well with jogging more and riding the old pushbike so bit dissapointed I can’t keep up with that. Still. A recovery day isn’t a bad thing!
Oh man my last two weeks in California were rain non stop. It helps me get to sleep, but it puts a halt on going out and doing anything interesting. What’s a pushbike? Is it an exercise machine?
I’m loving the rainy days @rogueone! I have nothing to do but enjoy it. Right now i have my double sliding doors wide open to let the light breeze in. Listening to the rain is relaxing. Sorry this interferes with your cricket.
@agent101g a push or regular bicycle. Must be an Aussie saying!
Yeah @Sezbot241 it is nice and it’s decent soaking in rain which is great for the oval at the club. We do need it. Dad and I are heading down the sporto for lunch. Might have a cheeky little punt and a couple. It’s payday down here and that is always good!
Indoor practice…in air conditioning! Sounds like luxury to me @John_Raven. Hard to play cricket indoors but there is a couple of venues with a closing roof out here at least. Rain really is a pain in the ass for cricket because you don’t play. Football is good you can play in the wet!
That reminds me of my buddy in college who got around without a car. He always had his umbrella, except for one rare time when I let him borrow mine. He’d go walking to and from bus stops like it was no big deal. I guess if there’s no wind that’s cool.
Cricket sounds like a great way to stay physically active, I’m jealous.
