I thought the 60’s & 70’s were better for music, although I did love Journey.

80s was best for “pop” music, as we think of pop today. But nothing compares with the psychedelic era of music of the late 60’s and early 70’s. Janis Joplin, The doors, Led zeppelin, pink floyd, rolling stones, jimi hendrix, the beatles.

I love me some Tom Petty though and tons of 80’s bands.

Classic rock <3

Besides for my favorite rock group being Highlighted in the 80s - the Cult, the 80s was not a great decade for inspirational music.
The 60s - 70s and even the 90s - thanks to Grunge were better decades for music than the 80s

I liked the very early 80s - stuff that followed after new wave but yeah after 1985 it went a bit Stock Aitken and Waterman in the UK.

For me, The 80’s were suffering. I wonder if there was a subconscious connection between 8 and ate.

The world was my oyster as I finally got out of school and had low stress job.

Brian Bosworth, alcohol, a year I spent in a private psychiatric hospital, OU national championship, a stay at a transition house.

haha the boz, forgot plumb all about him. he was in school while I was there and he bumped me out of his way one time because my college was in the stadium and there weren’t all the facilities they had for the football players back then…I think of him as kind of funny. I was attending OU when we won the championship in 85. still remember jumping up and down with a beer in my hand…wow, have I settled down.

Depeche Mode, Kiss, Twisted Sisters, Mötley Crue, Guns n Roses, White Lions…

Terror on Elmstreet.

Movies-Footloose and Top Gun

The eighties were when CD’s were invented. I heard the VERY first CD ever commercially sold was Bruce Springsteen’s Born in the U.S.A. Which was a great album/CD by the way.

The worst music eric clapton ever wrote.

The man is a guitar god and he shouldn’t be playing that stuff.

Thanks music industry.

Horrible clothing style (all pink and yellow)

The Dynasty (everybody watched it!)

The movie E.T. (went alone with friends on a movie for the first time)

Wham and Duran Duran (haven´t listened to it sinse…)

HM the 80’s: I think of Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, New Kids on the Block, and Madonna, watching shows like Alf and Mama’s Family, playing with barbies and their accessory toys, or my little pony dolls…hanging out with my best friend, Spending every Monday night during school season in religion class…cassette tapes, VCR’s…mind you I was born 1981…so I was just a child through the 80’s…

You were born in '81 I was graduating in '83!

I bought Born to Run on cd before born in the USA was released. I got a rebate on it and had to clip the product code.

There were many others released before then also.
