When I think of the 80's I think of

My mistake.

Fun Fact: ‘Born in the USA’ was 1st CD Made in the US

Quite fittingly, the first CD made in the United States for commercial release was Bruce Springsteen’s 1984 album, “Born in the U.S.A.” But it wasn’t the first commercially available CD ever. That title belongs to Billy Joel’s “52nd Street,” which was released on CD in Japan in 1982.

Ozzy went solo…Blizzard of Oz, Diary of a Madman…

No mistake. My copy of Born to Run was made in Japan.

I saw Ozzy at U of Md 2/14/83 shortly before I finally graduated. I used to think, “see being called a madman is not that bad!”

It’s funny I remember stuff in the 80s better than I remember the 90s when I got ill again.

" Manic depression befriends me"

Are you talking about that song from the Tom Cruise movie? Love that song. He has a voice for all types of music

Had my first baby in the 80s, tells you how old i"m getting…

He does have a good voice doesn’t he.

**He does! Not conventional-but good :guitar: **

Going back to the 70s with songs like “Am I Going Insane (radio)’ and 'Megalomania” by Black Sabbath introduced me to the concept of schizophrenia…other songs, especially from the first album and Master of Reality introduced me to the spirit world…
Diary of a Madman song that came out in the fall of 1981 is about Bipolar… he was diagnosed bipolar in 1982.

Manic depression befriends me
Hear his voice
Sanity now it’s beyond me
There’s no choice

Lest we forget about “Paranoid”.

I wouldn’t think all that acid would hurt his chances of becoming bi-polar.

Ozzy actually used to look like this before all the drugs http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-92HWG3x8WK0/TrblzqiBdeI/AAAAAAAAPGg/waP1UUTplO4/s1600/ozzyosbourne1974cmickrock.jpeg

The 1980’s to me = Super Mario Bro’s, Ghostbusters, Terminator, New Order - Blue Monday, Ronald Reagan, Chernobyl.

Slip sliding away? Ok man man

Both are good. I think Kodak used to use Kodachrome in a commercial for cameras on TV.
