I was on the airplane last time in 2002 when I took a flight from Miami to Brussels via Chicago. When we flew over Florida I had weird voices telling me that I would regret this flight, basically leaving from Miami, but I have never regretted, I suppose over two years in my auto in Miami was enough. So voices were not correct.
My old job years ago put me on planes most days, bush planes, 727,s, jets, by mistake they flew me up north in a private jet. Once in the jet we passed a commercial airliner and I could see the peoples faces, the pilot said someone made a mistake bringing us so close.
Worst flight was a beaver aircraft in the middle of winter we flew up north to a remote town. The door would not close properly and had a sub zero wind blowing on me the whole time, from their we jumped in the back of a pick up to the lake where we crossed the lake on ski doo,s to a building where the heater was broken. I have never been so cold.
years ago… from New York to Jakarta… and from Jakarta to Bali.
In May…Seattle to nyc was my last flight
I went to Florida in January too
Just a couple of weeks ago when I flew home from visiting Mum in Queensland.
never flown when psychotic, but in bouts of normalcy flew a lot and when younger flew a lot.
The only times I was on a plane was when I went to basic training and when I went to a aps conference in georgia.
My first experience flying is when my friend got a pilot he knew to take me up in a small plane. I was about 24 or 25 years old and I had been ill for about six years by then. That was 1986. I didn’t fly again until 1990 when my dad took me to Washington DC. I wasn’t actually that scared. I ended up flying several more times with him. We flew to W.Virginia and a couple of other places.
I just flew in from W. Virginia last night. Boy, are my arms tired.
@77nick77 It would had been easier if you had just took a plane instead.
The first time I flew was in 1960. The last time I flew was in 1999.
The first time I flew was in a two engine prop plane. We had to make a emergency landing, when we lost part of one of the engine. Since then I have been in single engine planes to passenger jets. I have even been in a helicopter.
The last time I was on a plane was when I was visiting my sister in another state during the winter for a couple of weeks. She had just moved there to get a good job. I’m so happy for her and really glad she is so successful, but sometimes I wish I was successful like her too. I just feel like such a failure.
