Given that its the AP that blocks the lowest amount of dopamine?
I’m not a doctor.
But it’s a powerful ap.
My Dr tried to prescribe it to me saying its much better for negative and cognitive symptoms than my risperidone as it blocks much less dopamine. I refused as I don’t want weekly blood tests.
I’ve been taking it for 2 years or more.
I still have symptoms, though
In my case, it was me who
suggested to my then pdoc
to prescribe me clozapine.
It was my idea.
Are your negative and cognitive symptoms better on Clozapine than on Risperidone?
Yes, and I don’t know if
it’s a coincidence or not
I am trying Clozapine but so far I hate what it’s doing to me
What is it doing?
I have not had a ■■■■ for 4 days I think, and I am now drinking this laxative stuff
After taking the meds I feel sick
Dopey as ■■■■, and sleeping much of the time
I feel absolutely rotten
Also, I pissed myself in my sleep, which never happens since Clozapine was started,
Symptoms are in fact worse since I started this and came down on my old medicine
Yea another user here had this on Clozapine. You’re going back to Amisulpride?
That sucks. It did not happen last night, so I am going to ignore it unless it happens again…
Amisulpride I have been dropping 100mg a day for the last 8 days.
If I don’t proceed with Clozapine I am going to refuse increasing the Amisulpride
If I get anything out of this experience, it will be a drastic reduction in my main AP - using Clozapine as a crutch to get through it
It’s the caramel filling – no one knows how they get it in there.
