So I’ve found that Ativan/lorazepam really helps me when in a difficult place. What is the difference between these three meds? My doctor is pretty wary about giving me too many lorazepam at one time.
klonopin is the easiest withdrawal, ativan and xanax will lead readily to dependence…
xanax is hard to get off of and easy to get dependent, they all are…ativan is fast acting and lasts a day, xanax shorter i think, ideally stay away from xanax…klonopin i think would be the safest…

WOw, I did notice Ativan started working quickly… I guess that is why I felt it worked well…
Ativan and xanax are quick, klonopin is slower.
Look out, these drugs…they’ll mess you up if you use them more than a week or two. Especially ativan…yeah, its hard getting off, i stopped about a month ago.
I’m withdrawing RIGHT NOW. It’s not cool, you feel cold and queasy. I have Ptsd and DDD.
How much Ativan were you taking per day? I was just reading about people who take these drugs everyday with no adverse effects…
You probably shouldn’t be taking benzos at all considering you’ve been drinking a lot lately.
Yeah, plenty can’t get off, but PRN is okay, day after day, even as prescribed, imho, you don’t wanna jump more than one or two weeks

I never even got close to getting drunk these days… so i’m ok.

How much Ativan were you taking per day? I only take .5mg when I take it.
2mg split in doses of 1mg am/pm

Did you get addicted to that dose?
I took Ativan at a bar drank two beers and ended up wrecked into a pole.
My next appointment my doctor put me on klonopin.

my doctor wouldn’t give me more than 4 pills of Ativan… but once I go back to Thailand I can get more… I’m gonna talk to my doctor. I need something for when things get bad.
If you want 24 hour anxiety control Klonopin is it.
I’m prescribed .5mg twice a day but I skip my evening dose several times a week.
It has a really long half life unlike Ativan or xanax.
