Who was diagnosed with schizophrenia? Thanks
Don’t stop taking meds because you feel better because the meds are probably why you feel better.
Don’t get discouraged but you’re in it for the long haul. The chances are high you will have it for the rest of your life. But you can still accomplish things and get something out of life.
Don’t act on your impulses. Think things out.
Remember to always ask for a name change to the disorder at least every few months.
Focus on what you can control. Healthy eating. Exercise. Maintaining relationships with friends and family,…
Know your limitations.
hang on everything its gonna be fine
Days drag on, years fly by.
Trust other people occasionally
Stay away from drugs
(Illicit) kind
Don’t start smoking cigs, they catch up on you
Accept your illness and take your meds! No need to think about the inevitable!
Always take your meds preferably an LAI so you can stay out of the psych ward because psych wards suck.
Woo Tang clan ain’t nothing to ■■■■with.
Don’t self medicate with drugs or alcohol. Especially alcohol.
Suicidal ideation isn’t what you expect. I always thought people tried to kill themselves because of a break up or something like that.
But it’s entirely possible to feel so bad you actually want to die. And while you’re feeling like this it is incredibly dangerous and you need help.
But it’s important to know the feeling is temporary and will go away in time.
Each morning is a new day.
Remember we are all in this together you will never walk alone.
Try to make friends they can sometimes provide help more than a family member!
This makes me laugh because a nursi g student doing clinicals sat with.me during my last admissions for a hospital stay. We had to wait for hours beforw I was sent to the ward. I was manic and popping off with wild stuff.
I gave her my 3 rules to life:
- NEVER chase the D.
- Don’t f with crazy people.
- Don’t be a sh*thead.
None of that has failed me.
