Don’t stop taking meds because you feel better because the meds are probably why you feel better.

Don’t get discouraged but you’re in it for the long haul. The chances are high you will have it for the rest of your life. But you can still accomplish things and get something out of life.

Always take your meds preferably an LAI so you can stay out of the psych ward because psych wards suck.

Suicidal ideation isn’t what you expect. I always thought people tried to kill themselves because of a break up or something like that.

But it’s entirely possible to feel so bad you actually want to die. And while you’re feeling like this it is incredibly dangerous and you need help.

But it’s important to know the feeling is temporary and will go away in time.

Each morning is a new day.

This makes me laugh because a nursi g student doing clinicals sat with.me during my last admissions for a hospital stay. We had to wait for hours beforw I was sent to the ward. I was manic and popping off with wild stuff.

I gave her my 3 rules to life:

  1. NEVER chase the D.
  2. Don’t f with crazy people.
  3. Don’t be a sh*thead.

None of that has failed me.
