You have to go after help and recovery; it ain’t going to come knocking at your door. You have to go get it.

Get your doctor to get you trying news meds asap. If you’ve just come off clozapine you should get on the meds bandwagon as soon as possible.
Dont overdose on meds, Ignore voices and delusions, no one is gonna hurt you, exercise a lot. Im a lot better with my schizophrenia
Try to give your life some meaning. I know it is difficult but you do not have much choice. It does not matter what it is. It can be video games. Or clean up dirt from the street. But there must be something for which you wake up.
It can get ugly at any time. Be aware.
There are worst diseases.
I’ve been committed, and gone on my own, and nothing in patient is making things any better for you, the hardest thing about being an addict is that you have to do it yourself, you cannot know anything clearer than that, any schizophrenic needs to know that life is troubled to the 9th degree, and yet, you must do your part to create some kind of balance.

Recovery is often about baby steps. You try to get stable. You take the meds as prescribed and be involved in your treatment. You have problems then speak up for yourself and ask your doctor.
Like can be a little different than most but a large part of our community works and lives like normal folk do. For the rest of us you can live a decent life.
