First time at 18 I had polymorf psychosis and then at 23 catatonic skizofrenia. Now the may change it to skizoaffective but I am not sure. I hardly can communicate with the psychiatrist who has my case so I must be patient.
I had bipolar first, for 15 years. I got really depressed sometimes, and super energized-happy other times. Then at age 30 I started believing things that weren’t true and hearing voices. This changed my diagnosis to schizoaffective disorder.
To me the difference was and is pretty clear.
Yes they thought i had borderline at first when i was in the prodormal period but now im diagnosed as sza
OCD, I was basically being a perfectionist about following the Bible, and then I went crazy
I was diagnosed with ADHD and a tic disorder. But I have schizophrenia and GAD.
Depression with psychotic features originally now schizophrenia
Adjustment disorder, then delusional disorder and then paranoid schizophrenia. I have never been diagnosed with a mood disorder or bipolar and I don’t know what borderline is. So I don’t think so.
Borderline is a personality disorder.
Its symptoms are very similar to schizophrenia, detachment from reality, etc
I am glad I don’t have that then. I am a 100% disabled veteran and that’s over $3000 a month and the VA doesn’t consider a personality disorder a disability so I wouldn’t be getting that then.
PTSD, MDD, OCD, and GAD. It was an acute care facility. (Not a good one) I had, from my point, 8 of 9 symptoms of BPD though.
I think it was organic psychosis.
Personality disorders are harder to treat than schizophrenia. Its hard to change someone’s personality.
