What was your worse AP

Results for APs are different for each individual.

I’ve taken about 15 different APs and for me it was Abilify
(Which is surprising because I’ve heard of a lot of good results from it)
Caused major panic attacks and made me think I was dieing, wasn’t fun.

So what AP have you taken that was the worse one for you ?
Interested to see the different results.

Also abilify. All were horrible, but abilify made psychosis and fear worse and made me pace up and down the room.

Invega shots. No thanks.

Restless legs and weight gain. I couldn’t even sit still on them and do anything meaningful, had to walk around all the time.

Vraylar made me go nuts!
The most activating AP I’ve been on.
Went to the psych hospital because of it.

Abilify was the worst for me. Made me addicted to gambling, sex, binge eating, weed, alcohol and shopping.

I lost over 100 000$ because of Abilify.
Made me loose my gf forever because of hypersexuality. For others it caused divorce.
There is more than 2600 lawsuits against Abilify for those addictions as of June 2019:

Seroquel.

It turned me into a complete zombie.

I lost an entire year of my life and gained like 70lbs.

It was terrible, I would have preferred to be psychotic.

Took forever to trust APs again, and lose the weight.

Abilify. It was my first AP, and it had the weird effect of making me incredibly sedated - I was sleeping over 15 hours a day - and also giving me unbearable akathisia.

ive only ever been on risperdal and invega, so i will say risperdal since it almost made me pass out every time i stood up. i would get light headed and my vision would get blurry for about 5 seconds before i felt fine again. that was the oral meds and the worst side effect i’ve experienced so far

Abilify worst withdrawal imaginable

My worst AP was Abilify. It severely intensified my paranoia. And my pdoc made me stay on it for a week and a half until I couldn’t take it anymore. I was on prn Stelazine too and it didn’t help.

the worst for me was seroquel. i was so uncomfortable on it, i felt like i was on recreational drugs instead of an ap. it felt horrid.

judy

Haldol was horrible for me. All the typical AP’s were bad for me. I’m doing well on Geodon and Seroquel.

Ope im on abilify now. :X it was working but now not so much. Worst was haldol. Made my neck tense up and i couldnt control it.

Invega shots was the worst followed by seroquel. Best has been Zyprexa.

30mg of zyprexa was worst. Didn’t know it til years later that it was beyond max dose, they gave me a 10mg and 20mg together to get me out of the hospital. Was on that strength for months.

Ability was the worst for me too. Massive akathisia and high sensitivity to caffeine. 10mg wasn’t quite enough for my symptoms, 20mg and I was walking around the way Peter Garrett dances.

It also made me walk back and forth for hours in my house.

good, interesting thread. shows we’re all different.
Abilify and Geodon for me. Abilify created a catatonic state- tried to escape the mhospital twice while switching meds. Geodon was the worst. Physical aberrations, all sorts of unspeakable pain. Tried Seroquel, was a good ap, stopped having pot cravings and kept me disciplined. The back spasms and body ache were unbearable however. Olanzapine lifer.

Abilify caused me to binge eat and purge.
Olanzapine caused a lot of weight gain.
