Me too. I like that song.
For some reason that movie was a huge deal in 1983 or so. Everybody talked about it, everybody wanted to see it. The group home I was in at the time took us all to see it for an outing. And almost simultaneously the vocational program I was in took us to see it too. Personally I didnât see what all the fuss was about. I did like this song though.
Assuming youâre referring to the Mozart soundtrack, I did enjoy the movie but found the portrayal of Mozart just awful. I actually felt sorry for salieri. I loved mozartâs music so much I didnât care if He was pompous.
Yeah, the man - in the movie, didnât exactly match the music.
This was my second favorite song from the movie. 
Oh man, I think it was some K-tel greatest hits album. I know I had to have it because it had âThe Popcorn Songâ. Paid for it out of my own $$$. Think, I was like, seven. Wore that sucker out!
