yeah its not bad, im more content than I used to be with life. I haven’t watched movies in years, I think im going to get back into it. I did see the star wars movie in the theatre. with mark Hamill/ luke skywalker. it was ok.

What about playing video games? I get anxious around people…I couldn’t go to festivals or concerts. I only walk so hiking and working out would be rough.

really I should take music lessons. there are a few instruments I wish I could play. something to help me appreciate life and give me an appreciative skill

I don’t go to the movies as much as i used to. For one thing it’s expensive! But i occasionally catch a matinee, which is good because it’s cheaper and there’s less people to make me paranoid. Glad you’ve found some contentment with your life. That’s important i think.

I tried video games. I bought a ps4, but got bored with it. I ended up giving it to my nephews as a gift.

yeah I was kinda bitter and dissatisfied with life in my 20’s. I wanted to move somewhere else all the time. I used to study maps and fantasize about where I would move to.

now that im getting older it’s more important for me to be able to enjoy my parents for as long as I can.

just talked to my dad today about buying this place. he says he’ll sell on a rent to own deal. we’ll be neighbors.

Yes i live with my parents currently and i’ve realized that one day i’ll look back and be glad i got so much time with them. I think that restlessness is common when you’re younger. I felt that way, too. Now i’m 42 and i feel different. different priorities now.

What musical instruments are you interested in learning? I play didgeridoo and the Native American Flute. I’m just now picking up the violin. Instruments are fun especially the odd or exotic one’s.

I need to learn an instrument for fun.

didgeridoo and native American flute are good ones. sometimes I like to listen to those relaxing desert flute songs, to calm down.

personally im wanting to learn the violin, mandolin, and doublebass or as I call it the upright bass. I play the guitar a little, although I haven’t played in years really. I want to be able to play folk/ bluegrass. I have no desire to play banjo though.

have you ever heard of a hang drum? I used to think those things were so cool

Oddly I was just reading about spiritual instruments a half hour ago and saw the hang drum. It looks sweet. I’ve always had an ambition to try the djembe though.

yeah man I like the djembe too, you should go for it.

When you write such about parents…
I appreciate my parents and love them and care for them but seem to have some issues with them still.

What can you do?

What would help you?

I am thinking about volunteering a couple of hours if I feel well enough.
Something simple like packing meals.

I barely coped last few weeks doing daily activities like managing hygiene ,dogs etc

Hope you will find something good to and for you and others too.

I’m studying languages such as Thai and Chinese. Living in Thailand it comes in useful. I will do more travel and try to keep my head above ground. Try to stay out of depression and away from thinking too much. I went to the gym this morning… exercise helps
