Status is not a real thing, it’s a perception, by which I mean that a single action could lower your status in one persons view whilst raising it in another’s.

Having ‘confidence’ and ‘following through on your goals’ will raise your status in life.

even though I dislike money I understand its importance in modern society… I actually have no money so I wish I had the problem of too much money… with enough money I could free myself from money buy some land harvest food and electricity and owe no one a penny…

I only say this in the context of slavery. Who’s to say what wages constitute slavery… 0 or a lot or somewhere in between. Maybe any amount can still be considered slavery, or maybe it’s how your treated. All I know is if you don’t have to worry about money you can’t be chained down by it. Maybe the worrying part is what’s bad about it
