There are those who walk with their nose in the air who judge people by their status but there are also a lot of humble people out there who don’t.

I personally don’t care much what people think of me.

I put the highest value on people who love and accept all people. Some people at the top of society are actually very bad people. Someone once said the last shall (someday) be first, and the first shall be last. That to me was a lot of insight into how it feels to be at the bottom and what to hope for. We can hope for status in the end.

This Jamaican guy Ronald once told me if I be respectful I’ll make it through life fine. That’s my duty. I am respectful. Ronald is a good guy. He said something about crazy people and I said “oh yeah schizophrenic people??” Because he could tell I was psychotic. Then He really felt for me and would give me big hugs whenever he saw me

Oh, people always judge. My Impala isn’t a BMW. I like to buy clothes at the thrift store, don’t really care to pay what they want for Hugo Boss. The validation of others doesn’t matter to how I value myself.

How would they know my status? Other than judging me by the clothes I wear. I usually wear relaxed fit jeans and a t-shirt with a button down, corporate casual style. If I shaved that day I probably get assumed to be wealthier than if I didn’t shave, who knows? I don’t really care that much these days.

There are many that have judged me to be thick, when finding out im Sz. Some that have judged me as a lazy scrounger off the government (get a bloody job!) . And some that are frankly jealous cos im better off finanacially then they are working.

Well on MSN my status was usually (Busy) so they must of thought I was out doing big things. Meanwhile I was just potating on the computer playing Neopets :sunglasses:

Nobody judges me. Or, at least I don’t think they do. When I was psychotic and paranoid out of my mind, I thought everyone was judging me and thinking evil of me. Now, all those thoughts are gone, thank goodness.

I know exactly what you mean. Horrible isn’t it. Now I think that most people are too wrapped up in their own business to care that much about other people. Sometimes people do judge, but then sometimes I judge other people.

I do have some well off people in my life and yes I think they do judge me. I think they feel sorry for me because I don’t have all that they have. But I don’t care about stuff so it’s not a problem for me to have less stuff. If I had tons of money, I would still have less stuff. It’s funny when they were younger they judged me more, but now I think they finally see status doesn’t mean as much as they once thought it did.
