Majored in Sociology while at college, had a short stint as a public policy fellow, and was employed in several retail capacities prior to and post-psychosis (mostly cosmetics with some banking thrown in).

Makes me feel pretty bleak knowing I haven’t really used my degree for much. And every time I get a notification from LinkedIn, it kinda crushes my soul a little bit knowing I’m not working at the moment.

Ive done a few different jobs. Property maintence for about a decade. Now i work in a sales job where the manager doesnt really check up on what i do as long as i get my sales in. So somedays i get a few emails done and not much else. So im thankful ive got the flexibility at this place or id prob be out of a job.

I was a registered dietitian for about a year. I did fine going to graduate school and doing my internship but when i got in the real world i couldn’t deal with the people. I’m 50 and have been on SSDI for 11 years. Before graduate school i was on SSI, so I’ve basically been on disability payments since i was 18.

I was a college student when I got sick. I worked part time before that.

I’m retired, I’m now a full time investor & twitch live streamer.

I started working in a restaurant when I was 17. I lasted three months then had a string of about 15 different jobs for the next two years never lasting more than three months at any of them. I stopped working at age 19 when I became schizophrenic and didn’t work for the following 2 1/2 years. Then a mental health agency got me a job at a hot tub joint and I stayed there four years.

Over the next 33 years I worked another string of about 15 different jobs and I managed to stay four years at one and three years at another and a couple of years at another and months at other ones until I got my current janitor job 13 years ago. I’m 63 now and I’ve been working about 44 years now.

I’m a tutor. but i haven’t found a first student yet
