That means you have to consult a doctor asap.

im planning on seeing a doctor this week…im currently doing research here and on the web…sz.com is a great resource…people here are experts by experience… I value their judgement…
my issue is not so much the heart pain but the fear that I may have to reduce my anti psychotics (800mg quetiapine and 20mg olanzapine)
I want tohear from fellow sz sufferers…they may have had similar experiences
@everhopeful…do your voices control you…I find they do…but with the right med combo, one canget in control…im currently doing well on meds but fear a return to humiliating madness if cardiac issues arise
I value your judgement @everhopeful as a fellow sz sufferer…schziophrenics are experts by experience…I value their judgement…as I said im more worried of coming off anti psychotics…looking for input from others

How long have you been on 800mg seroquel? How long have you been on Olanzapine? When did the chest pains start ?
imon this dose for about 7 weeks…but I only started sertraline 3 weeks ago which is around the time the heart pains started…I then stopped taking sertraline last Thursday but the heart pain did not go away
I was on sertraline 50mg…its not that high a dose…

Only if you’ve had a heart attack which @karl hasn’t. And under a doctor’s supervision.
I would see a doctor preferably a cardiologist as soon as possible @karl.
We are not doctors.
Yes you are on high doses of 2 APs but your chest pain may be a different issue not related to the medications.
Only a qualified doctor would know.

I don’t know. The poster is obviously somatizing and seeking agreement with his voices that told him to quit his meds. I think @anon82948922 has it right by saying “Ask a doctor”
