I cant really say what it is…an agitation, the world feels a little different. Its about 48 hrs without abilify and 24 hrs without haldol.
i wanna take it but i cant
You really should take the ap’s @irrelevant. Why cant you???
Im afraid they might have contributed to my heart beating strangely
I sometimes get palpations too i know its a horrible feeling but its probably harmless.
Can you talk to a mental health worker such as on a crisis line and ask their advice?
I think you should take the ap’s but get expert medical advice about your heart asap.
You can read up on individual medications online and see if yours cause heart palpitations.
Good, common sense advice.
I know i really need to get it checked. I saw what it looked like on ekg on my watch and it looked like a very dangerous arrythmia (i wont say which). But thats how scared i am of people and doctors. Even tho im afraid it coulda killed me if it lasted longer than it did, Idk if i can go to my doctor for a referal to a cardiologist.
I think i got an extreme people/doctor phobia
You blame AP’s but that’s probably not the cause.
Stop weed and caffeine. Those are probably the culprit.
I don’t blame APs im just afraid there could be a cumulative affect. That the APs might be making me more prone to arrythmias. I know the immediate cause and it was triggered by a very cold drink of blended ice and milk.
You should speak to your doc before quitting AP’s cold turkey.
Weed is known to cause heart arrhythmia.
You need to see a doctor or present to emergency where they can do some tests. I’m sure it would be figured out pretty quickly but stopping your meds isn’t a smart thing to do and could lead to other issues.
Your just inviting more problems into your life over something you should have got checked out already.
I wish i wouldnt have hung up on 911 and let the hospital figure it out yesterday but now i will have to deal with primary care and i have a phobia or something of going there
It’s a no brainer. If your worried ring emergency and sort it out. Your just being dumb stopping meds without knowing anything. Present to emergency and it’s no drama. They will look you over and won’t stop care. That is what they are there for.
@irrelevant im just going to be straight forward. Yesterday, I locked your thread because you were being diagnosed by a bunch of rowdy internet strangers. You went through a strange incident that you needed to consult with a doctor. I told you yesterday not to do anything rash. Instead you went off your meds without doctors approval for something you think might have caused it. You are not being rational. Go see a doctor and they will tell you what’s wrong with you, instead of self diagnosing or asking us to diagnose you.
Idk how they would react to that. Since it happened yesterday i dont think the ER would be ok with me coming in for something that isnt happening right this minute. Ill call the nurse line and ask for advice on what i should do.
Im not asking anyone to diagnose me. I dont trust even my GP to diagnose me much less u guys.
Please make that phone call. Emergency gets weird calls all the time. Sort it out now rather than later.
You’ve already decided your psych meds caused it, so I don’t know what else you want me to say. ![]()
I know a cold drink caused it but i worry the meds contributed to it. And im not willing to risk my life or my heart on the chance the meds had nothing to do with it. I didnt even wanna talk about it but what am i supposed to say when im asked why im stopping my meds. I dont wanna lie. But i dont wanna not share that im quiting either.
You don’t know that unless you talk to a medical professional. You are jumping the gun by stopping meds before talking to anyone first.
Thats cause im an extremely awkward terrified person of people and going to the doctor is not simple for me
