For your positive symptoms? Your negatives? Your cognitives?
I don’t. It always makes my positives worse. If we are talking about the classic “empty your head” type, that is. I do have relaxation rituals that are calming activities for me. Mostly for stress management.
Ok thank you for the info.
What are your rituals, if you don’t mind me asking?
What kind of meditation do you guys do for stress?
Walking breathing playing living meditation
Meditation can be anything imo you train your mind to be present aware mindful
Meditation is not medication
I lay down on mate close my eyes put some meditation music with intention to be aware of my thoughts also I control breathing breathing slowly and deeply. I close my eyes try to stop thinking . But thoughts completely don’t go away so I let them be there just trying to relax and enjoy my meditation, I imagine myself meditating and calm
Thank you, @Frenzy, that’s very helpful.
I know other activities are healthy, but focusing on my breath is all I can motivate myself to do sometimes.
I recently picked up the loving-kindness meditation again.
I like that type of meditation. Very straight-forward. And it feels good.
Yes, it does. It helps me the most.
I also do breathing, body scan, mindfulness, the 5 senses.
I listen gregorian monks while I do introspection..
I practise shamatha (focusing on the breath) for 20 mins, twice a day
