I don’t find meditation all that helpful, in fact it stresses me out because I have a hard time visualizing stuff, I can do it but it give me a headache sometimes. When I am listening to a guided medication they say stuff like “feel the waves washing over your feet” I don’t feel anything.

The closest I come to meditation that I sometimes find helpful s just to take big deep breaths over and over again.

I do !
Meditation is really awesome.
It’s so relaxing.

I plan to start reading positive statements every day one page in my journal.

I also try to be more mindful. Of myself.

So I’m not too stuck in a stress autopilot mode too much

I meditate. I like “grounding” meditations because I feel less spaced out when I do them. I’m more in my own body. I think my condition would be a lot worse without them. Mindfulness (zazen, kinhin) is one of the better ones, since it trains me to let thoughts come and go without following them down the rabbit hole filled with delusional thinking, or some demented spiritual playground.

I can keep bringing my mind back to the present moment. It’s important not to be judgmental toward myself if I catch my mind wandering. I just gently bring it back to the present. I don’t ruminate (think of bad past events) as often as I used to. If I can catch myself ruminating early, then I can avoid it altogether, by bringing the mind to another topic, or simply to the sensation of my breath, the sound of birds outside, the smells of neighbour’s cooking.

I meditated for a while, but my voices became louder. I prefer to not meditate anymore despite its soothing impact.

Everyday
