They got rid of the subtypes. Now it’s on a spectrum, it’s a group of related mental disorders that share some symptoms. In reality we may all have different disorders with having psychosis as a shared syndrome.

I was diagnosed with paranoid sz but have found over the years that I have depression with it. So my doc says you could say I have schizoaffective disorder. So guess I really don’t know. But my paranoia and delusions are extreme while psychotic.
