My sister and brother-in-law, and my two nieces are coming over for thanksgiving. My cousins, my uncles, and my aunts usually come over…but this year because of the Covid virus they are not coming.
It’s just going to be me and my husband this year,
So small Thanksgiving.
But it’ll be nice, my husband loves Thanksgiving food so I’m still making a full meal.
Ordered a smoked turkey from a butchery. Only going to be my fiancée, my mom, and myself. Thats our COVID bubble.
One of my sisters has a partner who is sick. I’m unsure if it’s covid at this point.
So I’m unsure what our plans are.
It must just be me, my mom, and little brother and sister.
It is just going to be me, by myself.
Are you gonna throw a bird in the oven for yourself?
Actually, I’ve never celebrated thanksgiving. We don’t celebrate it in Belgium. I feel like I’m missing out on something.
I’ll probably be alone…
I’ll just drink some vodka and mope around my apartment
No my Dad will bring me food.
Right on! I hope you have a good Thanksgiving.
Thanks, that means a lot.
I’m going to be alone. Walmart has a microwave turkey tv dinner I’m going to order. Don’t know if they are going to have Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade this year.
Same as always with us. Husband, me, and the kids. We don’t have good family close.
@Jonathan2, you could create your own tradition of having a thanksgiving with family and/or friends. It’s a great way to have time with family and friends and to be reminded of all the things you should be grateful for
eh i’ll probably skip thanksgiving this year. be all alone, with a pizza
Thanksgiving was 12 Oct here. We had nothing special as we don’t celebrate it, my parents and brothers were off work and at home so it was like a weekend day for me.
we are going to my sisters if her husband doesn’t catch covid and she heals completely by thanksgiving…probably going to be a big dinner…we can always make it here if it goes south.
