i will be eating pizza and staying here. mom and dad are going to my sister’s for her feast, i don’t feel like going so will be here alone. mom said she would bring me home a plate of food though. probably the same story at christmas time.

We had our Thanksgiving dinner today at the clubhouse. It was good. I’ll be alone on Thanksgiving. That’s not bad for me, but being alone on Christmas sucks. I’ll probably buy a bunch of egg nog and listen to Christmas carols. I also like to watch the movie “A Christmas Carol”.

My mom died February 2018, and she was the last of my family here in Arkansas. My sister is my only family left, and she lives in Maryland with her husband and two children.

Last Christmas I watched The Christmas Chronicles 2018 on Netflix, it was pretty good eventhough its for children lol I may watch the new 2020 The Christmas Chronicles this year. Idk if there is a 2019 one, I will check now.

I am staying home alone. Normally I would go to my mom’s house but I’m not going to since its impossible to eat with a facemask on. Nowadays I always wear a fabric facemask when visiting with my elderly mom. I’m too afraid of inadvertently bringing covid cooties to her house.
I will go to her house on Saturday (wearing a facemask) to drop off groceries and to bring her flowers and a gift for her birthday. Also, I’ll bring her some cute new facemasks I got for her. I will be so relieved when she finally gets a covid vaccination.

My Thanksgiving is kind of up in the air. It might just be me, my Mother, brother, and my sister who has spina bifida.
So a fairly small gathering.

Oh it’s okay. She was born with her back open from the spina bifida.
She’s in a wheelchair but she’s a very happy and resilient young lady.
I’m very proud of her.
