Mine is writing on my journal, ironing my clothes, walking listening to music, making tye dye shirts, community center, and many more lol I could go on and on but I really want to hear your favorite grounding or coping skill.
Take my meds and go to sleep.
Watch something on tv or Netflix with the kids.
Cuddle with my pup.
Text with friends and my kiddos.
Eat something like chocolate.
Drink an entire pot of coffee.
Smoke and smoke some more.

LOL true I enjoy large amounts of coffee too.
Soda. I am only here because of soda.
Going out to the mall, walking on the beach
seeing my therapist, eating Thai food.

Work. I don’t consider what I do work. I do face to face sales, I practice communicating, making chit chat, and closing a sale. I’m not working when at work, it’s weird, I’m practicing to improve when I do other stuff. Talking is hard, made more difficult with a thought disorder. It’s like going to the gym for all of its benefits. True!

For me i would have to say mindfulness has made a big difference. The support group that i attend is also very good. However, my medication is also a big feature.
