I keep getting my voices telling me to do something to myself and if I do I will become a god with god and will be able to do good things like controlling the world what is it this it’s real but there telling me it’s brain chemicals…

I don’t know what to do I feel scared I want to go outside but then it starts at times screaming for me to hurt myself to become a god

Why is it a good thing to control the world. A lot of dictators are the bad guys.

@Livio your not alone with voices that offer a reward for self harm. Other people here have heard the same requests including for suicide. The voices are hallucinations, don’t listen to them. Are you on meds?

Don’t do what they say and don’t believe them. Can you call your pdoc or therapist to talk it over?

I’m currently in ward i’m trying to talk to the nurses about it but it’s hard there just saying the voices are not real but they are they give me PRN meds to calm me down when things get out of hand but I don’t know what to do…

It is easy to say they’re not real when they seem so very real. Just know you’re not alone, many people have suffered the same exact thing. It’s not just you

You have to trust the nurses, and you have to trust us. I know they seem real, but they are not. I’m sorry I can’t stop them for you. I wish I could.

You have to realize that voices are made up.
