my voices would constantly cause me physical pain with their energy tricks and the only thing they allow me to do is watch television. I’m sick of doing that. Bored 24/7 and cant even open up a book because more pain will follow if I don’t. For f sake can’t even kill myself because they are not letting me.
To those who hear voices and are at an early stage please listen- Don’t talk to your voices and ignore them because they could turn out to be at the same violent level as mine and will make you miserable for the rest of your life.
I only hear the voices of the men who follow me when I see them. I hope you get good tips from others here.
A few tips on things that confuse newbies:
Cake day is the anniversary date of when you joined.
The 1515 or other numbers at the end of peoples posts are because there’s a 15 character minimum to post. So people put 15s after until they get to the minimum characters to post.
Yes when I used to hear voices I tried to ignore them too, but that wasn’t always possible. They can really get under your skin. That’s why I take my AP religiously and voices are now a thing of the past.

You can also call a crisis intervention hotline—these are available in the U.S. and in many other countries. You do not need to be actively suicidal to benefit from a crisis hotline.
I understand your pain. I don’t have voices that I hear but I get telepathic messages or inserted thoughts that I used to respond to. I haven’t talked to them for about a year but they started harassing me yesterday. Just like many of you, I can’t know if it is MI or real as I have had much to tell me it is real and not MI.
I hope you feel better soon! You are in my prayers.
I suffer from tactile hallucinations as well. They kick in when I perform specific actions or dwell on specific topics in my mind. When voices are reduced, the tactile hallucinations are as well. Sadly, when triggered, both return.
I am no longer psychotic. I manage my mood swings well. Still I am non-functional and maintain some degree of delusions, sadly.
