how would you answer the question, if someone asked u?
I would say “you must experience it to understand it”
It’s like being mocked by two adult children LOL
Il answer this it’s fcking nuts!! First off the voices! No one no YouTube video or google search can accurately portray just how real the voices sound like how you think they are real people, they are very convincing, then you get all this crazy ■■■■ that happens in the real world to back up what the voices are saying it really makes you believ in it. I once thought I had to join the provisional IRA and that I would be set up once I joined for murder, then I would be sent to jail. I remember crying to my mother convinced this was gonna happen. It’s all the voices doing.
The new thing is getting messages from the phone which relate to my thoughts,
“Not as bad as I thought.”
It’s like hearing the most annoying people possible, everytime you try to accomplish something or try to do anything slightly difficult. Other times they may just be trying to brainwash you about stupid things, they are too stupid to know enough about.
It’s great. You get to take expensive drugs every day without the junkie stigma. It truly is a gift! jk
Nobody ever asks, but you gotta constantly prove yourself
to be capable. I try not to use it as an excuse. but…
I’ve had that question from time to time.
I tell them it’s confusing, and ask them how they think it would be like to never be able to trust that the sensory input they’re receiving is real.
It’s like, everything starts to make sense in a way that it shouldn’t
“You ever been stuck in a wood chipper?”
It turned my world upside down.
Lol that made me laugh.
its a cocktail of ingredients
A psychotic episode is similar too the movie ‘‘A nightmare on Elm street’’
Its like being a criminal. Constant danger.
Yo ho yo ho its a pirates life for me
In some sense it’s like hell. I think some people picture hell as a place with fire or something when in reality i think it’s a place of mental torment.
In some ways I feel like we face a mini hell at times. Just bein tormented mentally. I think it’s redemptive though because the suffering that we endure here makes us better people and more virtuous.
In short it can be like hell at times lol
Kinda like being tortured, but not as fun.
Its like a Chronic of voices
Most days it’s just like any other disease. Remember to take meds, manage exposure to triggers, get proper sleep, diet and exercise. On bad days, it’s like being in a nightmare, except you’re like 90% sure it is real life.
