Whenever I have a beer I feel relief from the negative symptoms from the AP, which basically is physical discomfort in my head.
I actually gave up drinking regular beers. I just have some low alcohol ones as a therapeutic agent.
I know hops calms down the nervous system, but I tried taking hops as a supplement on their own, and that doesen’t do the job. I also feel that beer that are pure non-alcoholic doesen’t quite do it for me either. So I did some research, and the only thing I can think of is the brewers yeast. I don’t think they use yeast in non-alcoholic beers, or do they? Isn’t the yeast to start the fermentation process that gives the beverage alcohol?
Anyways I am going to try brewers yeast on it’s own and see if it does anything for me.
its the alcohol. not worth it to try out every component that goes into beer, the alcohol is the thing that affects you, even if its low in alcohol it makes a difference compared to none
I don’t know. I don’t feel like I get a good effect from hard liquors, so I’m thinking it might be something about beer specifically. But if I get no effect from yeast then idk.
Well I admit I love the taste and the passtime of drinking beers. And with these low-alcoholic beers I barely feel any “buzz”, so it’s not a problem in that department. But I gain weight on these beers, so if I can find some other means of giving myself relief that would be great. Then I can get by drinking only every other day
You never know, it could be it. I do take B-vitamin supplements…but I’m not so sure about those. It would be interesting to know exactly how they make those, but I have a feeling that tablet B-vitamins isn’t exactly natural, so it might not have the real deal effect.
A lot of the deal with nutritional supplements is not the amount of the dose, but your body’s ability to incorporate it. I bet that can vary from person to person.
