I am on Invega and after a year of being on it the loud voices stopped. Now if I am slightly nervous or even while walking I get a slight panic attack and hear the whisper of somebody calling my name. The panic attacks keep happening. It is like I can’t walk without headphones or I will hear voices because everytime my heart rate goes up a little I hear voices. I quit smoking which has helped a lot and the cigarettes made me hear the whispers all the time. I am desperately trying to find a medication that will allow me to wait for the bus or go to the grocery store again without hearing the whispering in the white noise of the environment I am in. Does anybody else have this problem or have figured out a medication that will make it go away? Thanks.

I have that sometimes when I am alone and I have no anxiety or panic. Does it bother you? If yes, tell your psychiatrist.

Sometimes I hear my door bell ringing and no one is there.
I don’t know which meds will take that away for you. But I’d like to welcome you to the forum.

What meds are you on right now @superunicorn ? If none then you should talk to your pdoc about it really.
