What is a good second AP to add on to Vraylar?

I was thinking Latuda or Clozaril…clozaril unlikely because of the blood tests…

Is rexulti good? It’s like abilify but better, right?

All the other APs make me fatter real fast and have worse negative symptoms like risperdal.

I tried geodon before and didn’t really like it. I think it is overrated. It works well for some.

I didn’t like latuda really because of the food thing, headaches, and it was really weak for me.

Not sure if I’m going to add another AP or not. Just upped my cymbalta and lamictal a few days ago. I’m doing PHP. When the time comes, I’ll let you know and talk to my doctor. If everything else fails, I’ll try ECT. I have treatment resistant “bizarre” delusions and meds don’t really work. I think cigs and energy drinks make it worse, but I’m unable to stop them.

My doctor thinks I have a problem experiencing fun and being happy.

Abilify is a pretty safe antipsychotic with minimal side effects. Though it might make you gain weight.

I think Clozapine is worth it even though the blood tests are annoying and you have to go to the pharmacy once a week for 6 months.
