I know that it failed in phase 3 due to the effect of the pandemic. I wonder if it would continue to be tested for schizophrenia, it seemed like a very promising drug. Does anyone know something?

Yes, but it failed due to an unrelated cause which was the pandemic, I wonder if they are going to revive phase 3

Sumitomo gave up partnership on the drug around March 2024. I believe the reason was they did not have capital/money to rerun phase 3 trials. Otsuka has the rights but I do not see any trials running on clinicaltrials.gov for ulotaront. It may be that Otsuka does not have money or wants to spend it elsewhere.
