Ulotaront (SEP-363856) is a TAAR1 agonist with 5-HT1A agonist activity that is under investigation for the treatment of schizophrenia and other CNS conditions. Sunovion discovered ulotaront in collaboration with PsychoGenics based in part on a mechanism-independent approach using the in vivo phenotypic SmartCube® platform and associated artificial intelligence algorithms. Ulotaront is being studied in a global Phase 3 development program for schizophrenia (DIAMOND) with additional indications under consideration. The U.S. FDA granted Breakthrough Therapy Designation for ulotaront for the treatment of schizophrenia in May 2019. The full results of a four-week pivotal study (SEP361-201) evaluating the safety and efficacy of ulotaront in patients with schizophrenia were published in the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) in April 2020."

It is a safe link anyway…

2023 probably, you can always call them up when phase iii results are released to ask if they are exporting to your country and when

are they testing human subjects on this?

ah huh. they had better be paid well.

There are four phase 3 trials ongoing in USA, one phase 3 in Japan. Two of the four USA trials are scheduled to end in 2021.

I hope they release the results soon during my holidays in September so I can call them to check if they are exporting to singapore

Does it help negative symptoms? Any studies?

Phase ii results show it does and it’s significant, it’s made by the same company that made lurasidone

I hope it will make it to Canada and that it won’t have any bad side effects like weight gain etc

6 months phase ii studily shows that average weight gain is 0.03kg, individual receptor studies show that taar1 agonist reduces appetite and weight gain by olanzapine while 5ht1a agonist increases appetite so theoretically they should cancel each other out

I am just worried that it might have long term side effects like cancer causing or poison somehow

Usually they can not export anywhere until the government of a country approves it for that country. It usually takes a long time to get government approval for each country.
