We have been having Christmas topics but no one seems to be bringing up Thanksgiving. It is only 2 weeks away. I know not everyone celebrates Thanksgiving but still, it seems overlooked. Are you having a Thanksgiving get together this year or a meal of some kind?
Thanksgiving falls on my husband’s birthday this year,
So we’re having a big celebration.
About five guests are coming over.
I’ve never cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner for a crowd,
So we’ll see how it goes.
We’ve already had our Canadian thanksgiving.
We will have Thanksgiving with my parents, my sister, and me. It will be a combined birthday celebration for me, because my birthday is that Saturday, the 27th.
I can’t cook, so it would be mean for me to contribute that way. My sister loves to, so she’ll be doing it. What I will contribute, though, is a dessert. I bake REALLY well. I’m going to make an apple crumble.
I’m pumped about Thanksgiving! All that stuffing and ham.
Also, Mr. Whitworth has his Thanksgiving themed collar on, so we haven’t forgotten it here!
We’re having a very traditional American thanksgiving. I went hunting for my turkey this year.
Gun going off, BLAM BLAM! Everyone else in the freezer section of Walmart screaming and running. What a rush.
I’m actually having turkey tonight Canada’s thanksgiving is in October tho not November
Yeah, I vaguely remember someone making a thread about it I think.
I hope all of you americans have a good thanksgiving!
We don’t always celebrate it. We used to visit my mom’s sister in Maryland but this year we’ll probably just get a turkey at home.
I will be eating by myself.
We’re having one of our kids at home, and possibly my brother in law. My daughter is vegan so I have to prepare 2 meals basically. But we’re not going to have a ton of food because it’s just 4 of us
Thanksgiving YEAH🦃! “Peel back the film over the mashed potatoes…”
We are Jewish, and always overdo it on the food! We’ll be eating leftovers for weeks!
Lol! Sounds good!
