In 2021 I blocked my mom because she was texting me way too much. She had been texting me nonstop all day every day for 9 months and I couldn’t take it anymore so I blocked her. I first tried to set boundaries with her but she said she got really upset and you can see how that went if you search for my mom sent me some messed up texts last night on the forum.
I sent her a letter saying I blocked her because she was texting me too much and it was driving me crazy.
She emailed my dad and my dad said she went berserk and blew up and then she kept harassing and threatening my dad and stepmom on my dad’s email and my stepmom’s Facebook and my stepmom said my mom said she was going to call the police and where my dad and stepmom work and say they’re abusing me and committing illegal acts. My mom continued to harass and threaten them but they wouldn’t say what but my stepmom said they were unpleasant.
My mom kept harassing my stepmom’s family and friends on facebook and sent a mean message to my stepmom’s mom and a mean message to my stepmom about her son who just died in a car crash.
My mom called the cops on my dad and my dad showed the cop an email my mom sent him and the cop said “Save that in case you need to take her to court.” Then the cop left and my dad showed me an email he got from my mom saying she told me to go to hell and was going to call my dad and stepmom’s work and complain about them. My dad said before I blocked my mom she said she was going to call his work and say he was a bad dad which he isn’t.
My mom kept calling my mental health program and the woman in charge told me she wanted my mom to stop calling but there was nothing I could do.
My dad and stepmom had to get some kind of restraining order or something that said my mom couldn’t come within 50 feet of our house.
I unblocked her in May but I’m having second thoughts because she seemed to go crazy just because I blocked her which she brought on herself by texting me way too much and not respecting my boundaries. I’m not sure what to do. I think I should probably block her for what she did but I don’t know.
Should I block her again?
