i love mince pies, and Singing,

tbh i like the singing the best haha, i love those Christmas Songs

recently discovered Port but its not my favourite, i havent got a favourite drink for Christmas, still looking for that elusive red that people say is out there lol,

i was thinking about getting a holly wreath for my door but thought it might be a bit OTT and its expensive,

the tree isnt up yet but i havent really got any space for it lol might have to cram it in somewhere haha, i love the tree but its not the best thing about Christmas,

i use to hate xmas though because it was dark and i just couldnt enjoy myself, i was emotionally flat and depressed for years so i hope that everybody out there is safe and not suffering, i wish you all some happiness, hope you have a good one and an even better new year.

I like to bake cakes, I make trial out cakes before christmas and then spend the 24th baking. It’s my tradition.

I like the general spirit of it - the food, the music, and the general good cheer. Getting presents is nice too.

Christmas and the new year go together for me. We make homemade pizzas from scratch on Christmas Eve, I love it. Then my tradition is to thoroughly clean my home (which was much easier in my tiny apartment than it is in this house), pay all my bills, eat soba noodles on New Year’s Eve, and watch the sun rise on New Year’s Day.

I don’t know what I like best about Christmas. For me its the part where my partners little sister open her gift and so do her nieces and nephews.

As a former retail worker, I’ve grown to view it as the worst time of year. In the past, I was always working on Christmas.

it is quiet, but i like it… like that…but i did buy my nieces some cool christmas gifts…’ nerf guns ’ ( they fire secret messages to each other !?! )
but they look like a little girls :girl: MI5 hand bag !?! :handbag:

I once again expressed my desire to NOT spend Xmas with in-laws. Was told we’d probably have to, but don’t worry, we can celebrate on Xmas eve. Sure, except for the part where I work until 6 pm. Have to come home and clean up and then maybe by 7 pm I can put my feet up. Whooooo. That’s some downtime all right.

Think I’m refusing to travel this Xmas. Their turn to come here.
