Im on prozac which knocked out my anxiety and ocd somewhat but now i wake up daily feeling suicidal. Im so sick of changing medication.
Is there an antidepressant they can give me that i dont feel suicidal thoughts?
Are you below the age of 24? If im remembering correctly, SSRI’s can cause suicidal thoughts and actions in young people.

I’ve felt suicidal a couple of times in my life. First time was when I was dealing with Depersonalization and Derealization. Second time was when I went through severe Ativan withdrawals (not recently, years ago)
What antipsychotic are you on again?
I had the same issue on Prozac/Fluoxetine
On the rare occasions i am, i give all my meds to the CMHT, lock the door and goto bed. Then they will usually phone me everyday. I never tell them, the full story - cos obviously i hate hospitals. Normally get a script of valium as well.
I truthfully havent got the guts anyway. You have to learn, that whatever it is, it always passes.
Wellbutrin does this for me. With it, I’m good. Without it I’m shopping for rope online.

I am sorry to hear you are struggling. I had to try many ADs to finaly settle on Prozac. I am on high dose but it keeps the suicidal thoughts at bay or minimal.
Hope you can work with your pdoc to find something that works.
@Naarai, you posted that on a site created by a grieving relative to honour the memory of a schizophrenic sibling who died from suicide. We are all able to gather here out of the kindness and generosity of a person who doesn’t want anyone else to go through what he had to.

All i said was suicidal thoughts, do pass. Its about recognising the times when you are feeling well.
For some they do pass. For some those thoughts lead to actions which leads to them taking their own life.

I’m all too familiar with suicidal thoughts i have them often. I don’t usually post anything about them on this forum because my post would be unpinned, done it a few times to know this
I’m sorry @PikaTchu but you need to speak to someone as a matter of urgency and have your meds reviewed as well. Its dangerous being suicidal and can sometimes be side effect from a med but not always. Please seek help
I think the whole being suicidal is a strong impulsive thing for me and people do go through with this even when its impulsive. Other times its depression or other mental illness and breaks peoples strength of will to live so they go through with it. Its heartbreaking for relatives when their loved one passes obviously. I wish there was more help available, i often ring mh crisis line and they help. The samaritans helpline is very busy, or theres going to emergency department to speak to someone in person which helps

Yes confront what it is if theres a trigger. But theres sometimes just a really low sinking feeling with me and i can’t understand why and it makes me feel unstable and impulsive. Negative thoughts escalate in my mind. Its scary.
Crisis talk me through what my thoughts are and then i feel like i can think clearer
