I’m having a really hard time right now. Not sure what to do. I’ve had a benzo but I’m feeling terrible and terrified. I don’t think I’m under the mental health team at the moment.
Can you talk to a crisis line? Can you see if you can see a pdoc soon?
I can’t talk to a crisis line for a few hours yet as my daughter is awake. I text my pdoc to ask if i can raise my meds a couple of days ago but haven’t heard back yet. She discharged ne last time we spoke so I’m not sure if she will respond.
Sorry to hear thats happening. Just know your safe and it will pass. Make appointment with you pdoc
Go for a walk. Get some fresh air and some space. It’s proven that getting outdoors improves mood. Being cooped up in a house won’t help but maybe call your doc or the crisis line like others suggested. Maybe cook a simple meal to keep busy and distract yourself and sit down and eat a relaxing meal.
That’s probably means she won’t respond.
Why did she discharge you? Were you doing well up until today?
I had 3 good weeks after dropping down from 20mg to 15mg of abilify. NHS here in the UK, they try to tefer you back to your GP asap. I saw my GP about two weeks ago after a psychosis related SH incident and they said they would discuss with the team whether I should be referred back to the community mental health team.
Sound advice guys, thank you. I’m feeling sedated now and less anxious right now. But the triggers are hitting me hard each day, so I will talk to my dr.
I was going to comment first but forgot. You should always keep a prn when you’re off meds. Are you off meds?
I hate getting discharged from psychiatric care, they always do this to me as they say I am too stable. I don’t have a pdoc now, not since Jan 2021.
No, I’m on 15mg of abilify but it’s not really working out for me.
