It sounds like you’re doing a good job of managing things, @Jinx. The daily walks are fantastic, good on ya.

I do a combination of collecting my disability insurance and working part time as a “picker” at the current time.
Health conditions are making this difficult though, as I was told I have bronchitis and I also am repeatedly exposed to cat allergens, which I appear to be quite allergic.
Its very hard to keep working when you are always not feeling well. For now, I am going to keep pushing through, though. Hoping things get better on this front.
part time student
So what work do you do ?
I am working as a manager in an insurance company
In another life I was in musical trio that played at weddings and gatherings. Sometimes if we didn’t have a lot of gigs, we’d go play at a restaurant near the beach.
It’s been years since that and I’ve been unemployed. I receive ssdi. I don’t thing I am able to function in such a social setting any longer. It was neat having thousands of dollars in my pockets when I was young. That and the life experience of partying with strangers every week. Times have changed.
I’m currently claiming benefits for an income. The MH team put me on em. I’ve worked in jobs before.
Thanks @anon82948922 . I appreciate that. ![]()
I am stock trader and a stock investor.
The work is very volatile, and emotions can switch between euphoria and depression within a few minutes. But, this is the only type of work that gets the dopamine flowing, I feel it is being blocked otherwise by medications or maybe ADD. Like I am a person made for emergencies, and here-stocks- my brain works better than any other place I feel.
I just breathe, food and water. At the moment I can’t do more. I don’t know if I will ever be selffficcient funding my life. At the moment I am on government pay.
I work full time around 32-38 hours a week as an escalations case manager for a pet food company.
I am a coach, i train people to get better at their work.
part-time home care / caregiver
I’m on disability and so is my husband
I’m on disablity right now, but I sell stuff online to make some extra cash. I’ve held down a handful of jobs since I got sz. I’m going to take some tech classes over the summer to try and get into IT work. I was thinking about trying to do doordash or instacart but not sure if I’m going to.
