What do you do for a living? Do you like yer job?

Just out of curiosity
I myself has finally got a job I actually enjoy, I’m very impressed with my company, they respect and really appreciate and take care of their employees, I used to just tolerate my work, now I look forward to it…
I’m a janitor. :upside_down_face:

I am on the benefit. I would love to work but lack motivation to get up and go. Before I got unwell I used to work at a local hardware store as a cashier/check out operator. I get enough money to live on but spend most of it on cigarettes.

I reluctantly live

I’m a janitor and work for a great company too. Just finishing up a week of paid vacation. Just about a year and a half ago I was really liking my job. Now I don’t like the work I’m doing but it’s still better than any other job I’ve had. The pay and the hours are good so I will stick with it.

i work as a welder. I like my job. I consider her the best. in it I see pluses for my illness. I have constant physical labor, I sleep better, the ultraviolet from the welding arc helps the production of vitamin D. I am rarely sad. My work provides me financially. I have no debts and I do not use loans. of course I live simply and I don’t have expensive cars and houses. but I have enough of what I have. I can save money, in three months of work I have saved about $ 2,700. I am not poor, I can also afford to take a plane to another part of the country, for example, to visit a friend or relatives. And this despite the fact that I save money. This hour my earnings are 70 thousand rubles. I get this money for 15 days of work. then I rest for 15 days. In Russia, someone gets more, much more, but this is enough for me. I am glad that I found my vocation to work, I go with a smile, but I leave with sadness. I like welding metal.

A good welder is a good asset. Well done. I have liked working with my hands for a living. I used to work on new cars putting stereo’s and things in them and have done a bit of auto welding…I was terrible at it but appreciate the skills involved.

Do not worry. We all once did not know how to want, talk and count. all with experience. when I did not understand anything in welding. I was told it doesn’t matter, the main thing is that you have a desire to learn, this is the most important thing and you will learn. Yes, now I can do something. but I don’t consider myself a super specialist and always tell me there’s still a lot to learn. At my new job, I am greatly appreciated and the boss was worried that my shift would not be like me. I said thank you said that in any case a person can be taught.

I like my job since working is better than staying at home doing nothing. I am working for a living which thankfully takes time away from surfing this forum.

I’m a full time madman on disability.

I volunteer and am on disability. I will also start working for the Belgian Department of Finance. Based on my latest conversations that will be Oct 1st. It takes a while to be appointed for a Government job and it takes extra time because I need accommodations for my disability.

I used to work.

I was a surgical assistant for years,

Mangaged some practices,

Did some marketing,

Was a writer.

Since I had my baby my symptoms got about 400% worse,

I haven’t worked steadily since then.

A few bursts of employment here and there,

But I rage quit or got fired from all of those.

My husband and I decided it’d be best for me to stay home and do domestic ■■■■.

It’s not bad.

The internet allows to take on endeavors like selling anything. Maybe you could find a cheap good provider of something and resell. Just an idea. Do what you feel like. All I am saying is that there is lots of opportunnity out there. Don’t believe in the competition egoistic people who classify people by income. They are as wrong as possible. I myself have a low income but it takes care of my needs so it is all good. The meds I get for free from the government. I am also on disability but I have a side informal business. I sell cheap software that I make myself.

Yes, but what can i sell ?My mother always said i am poor cause i don’t sell anything and give it away for free instead. I haven’t got the capital to stock anything up to sell. I was thinking sometimes to sell :jeans: jeans. I got the a little room to store them.

That is a good idea. You can create an instagram business acount and engage users with pictures that don’t even need to be taken by you like photos you get on the net of women in jeans. Call your business jeans something. The more specialized you get the more sells you will get like jeans with that 70s style which is coming back. You can have also a facebook account for your business. These channels work. Look for something very specific to sell. You have to hit a niche. Otherwise you get too much competition and sales don’t take off. Do your homework by researching the net. I’d bet on the aesthetic branch. It sells all year round. Women are always looking for new looks. If you subscribe to fashion newsletters you can know the next trends and adequate the products you sell.
