What do Americans in-vision when they think of England?

Australia has a similar healthcare system, and I will defend it to the death. It is liberating not being burdened with a debt every time you need treatment. I have no problem with some of my taxes going toward it, so to speak.

When I think of England historically I think of The Magna Carta, William Shakespeare, and Isaac Newton.

The Queen, pubs, great and talented rock musicians, friendly people, etc…

UhhHHHhHh I read about all the diff 1st world countries healthcare and benefits before. From what I recall England was far better than US but not the best out of the 1st world countries.

US has the worst healthcare system of all the 1st world countries, as far as coverage and costs. It is a disaster.

I don’t know anything about England’s health care. I imagine it’s better than our system. Ours has so many holes in it.

I have heard that is a myth.

That’s not how decisions are made in the EU, far from it. Not to speak of the serious democratic deficits still beleaguering British democracy. Out of curiosity, where are you from?

So you’re saying mass immigration to destabilize the working base in the EU was a decision Britain had too?

Britain has been a major player in EU politics and therefore shares responsibility for all decisions taken. That’s how intergovernmental organisations work. As for your talk on evil “mass immigration” and the rest you seem to be parroting anti-Soros conspiracy theories and unsavoury populist rhetoric generally, but then again brexiteers never cared for the facts.

It’s been working very well for almost a century now.
