I gave yarn hats, which I made, to all of my family members! Although, I still need to finish 2 more hats. They all look like this, but varying colors!
Orestes and Fable got some kitty treats and catnip! We got Wesley some toys! The cats don’t really like toys. Wes got a new rope and some squeaky plushies from Costco!
The toys: Cabernet Slobberon “Fine Whine”, Dogka “Rebarkerly Smooth”, Costco Wholesale Executive Dog card (it says Good Dog on the back), and a happy cheese wheel!
My Brother and I exchanged gifts when he came to visit (we’re the only living Family) and it was very low-key and nice. I think we talked about anime most of the time.
I gave coinage to the youngones and helped contribute to a trampoline for the youngest niece. My sister gave me a $50 gift card which I used to get some new headphones for the computer. Not bad. Some cheap kingston but do the job!
Actually I’m the same way! I have a piece of paper with a bunch of names scribbled on it, my brother knows way more about it than I do! Here’s a great site though, wcostream.com a MASSIVE site with so much anime I can hardly believe it! Even referenced by genre! For instance, I love BLEACH, and they have ALL of them, DUBBED! WOO HOO!
It went well @Joker . I also got him some bits for it.
The doll for my mom on the other hand was a complete disaster because my autistic niece ate the toes on both feet and the fingers off one of the hands. A lot of damage for a $200 doll. We ordered her a replacement that she will have to hide when my niece is over. For some reason she likes eating the silicone.
Edit: It was no longer on sale so my dad paid like $275 for a replacement after taxes and all.
I got a pair of Razer speakers, a mirror and a lamp for my reading corner in my room. I shared a part of a Fitbit for my mom, some sports towel for my dad, a pair of wine glasses for my brother-in-law and sister and some cream for my maid who has been with us a long time.
I got a real high quality chefs knife from my sister. Her boyfriend got
me a combination computer holder/food tray/cup holder for my car, kind of like a TV tray for a car that hooks on the steering wheel. I gave my sister three bags of specialty candy from Whole Foods and I gave her boyfriend 5 large bars of dark chocolate.
I only sent cards to people a couple of weeks before Christmas. I got three gifts. I opened them 5 a.m. Christmas morning. The best a gift to myself, a big book of music for the mandolin, it’ll keep me busy for the rest of my life and only cost $7. It even has two CDs. When everyone rips you off all the time it’s nice to get a deal every now and then. Next year I’m making cards by hand for people. I might start right away. They’ll be Celtic designs. I learned it on the internet and bought a book. Or I could make Celtic cards for birthdays. The first in my family is in February. And I’ll do it too. The library is a good place to work.
I also got myself a gaming mouse. I was going to get a new cellphone Pixel 6 but decided to wait a year or two as my current one I bought it in June 2020 and still works perfectly.
