What are some things youā€™re getting for other people for Christmas??

I got my husband a tent for camping, we got my nephew and step son inflatable kayaks and I got my sister in law a reversible Sherpa comforter setšŸ˜Ž

I canā€™t wait for everyone to open their stuff!

I got my son a R2d2 popcorn popper, a toy robot, a robot magazine and a bunch of other stuff $300 worth. I overdid it

I got my nephew in law a Taco Bell gift card. I got my niece & daughter an Amazon gift card and a Cooking for Two cookbook. I got my daughter bf a Amazon gift card.

I got my dad a bamboo steamer

For my nieces and nephews I am giving cash, not sure how much yet.

I may buy more if I feel the urge, I dunno. Long way until Christmas yet :scream:. Iā€™m kinda hooked on Christmas shopping, dunno if I can hold out a month.

My only relative, my Brother, is getting a giant assortment of various good chocolates: Lindt, etc. For complicated reasons he canā€™t get them himself, but if itā€™s a giftā€¦MWAHAHAšŸ˜ˆ thatā€™s me, the eevil brother coming through with the demon cacao

We donā€™t buy gifts for Christmas, just for birthdays. Not a big fan of all this consumerism. But Iā€™ll enjoy the dinner and quality time.

We just do a scratch off ticket usually of $5 for our family adults. Kids get the world. We just get together and have a good time. For my new Niece Poppy we are all chipping in to get her a trampoline! For the adults we all have lives etc so just a token thing is the way to go for us. You win you lose but itā€™s no big deal.

Yeah. I get it. Honestly Iā€™m grown and have my own money. The children in my family are all grown up. My niece is expecting a baby though I think in February or so

A lot of people put themselves into thousands of dollars in depth for Christmas. I think that has nothing to do with the Christmasspirit.
