I met ‘Willie’ from The Irish Rovers when I was about six. My grandmother took me to one of their shows. He told her that she had a “lovely granddaughter”. I’m still traumatized.
My daughter got to interview Rex Murphy a few years back when she was presenting at a conference on behalf of the school division. He was very gracious!
